Refugio “Bike to the Beach” Mountain Bike Ride
 This spectacular bike ride begins in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley Wine Country and finishes at Refugio beach located along the Gaviota Coastline.
A local favorite, the Refugio “Bike to the Beach” Mountain Bike Ride includes breath-taking panoramic views of the Santa Ynez Valley, the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Barbara Channel Islands. After a challenging 4 mile mountain bike climb over Refugio Pass, you will descend on a paved road 8 miles down to the beach, where a gourmet picnic lunch awaits you. Route is mostly paved with a steep 4 mile dirt road climb.
 The Refugio “Bike to the Beach’ Mountain Bike Ride includes: experienced tour guide, mountain bike rentals, helmets/water bottles & gourmet picnic lunch at the beach. Also, the tour includes shuttle service back to our retail bike center in Santa Ynez.
Be sure to dip your front tire in the Pacific Ocean to mark the end of your exciting trip to the beach!
